Our Mission: Family

The Flint Children’s Museum is a non-profit, charitable organization. With a limited budget, we have learned to apply the same creativity we inspire in children to our daily operations. A gift to the Flint Children’s Museum provides inspiring programs, themed months, new exhibits and discounted community access days. We believe that the work of the Flint Children’s Museum is important to our community’s families, children, school and cultural center offerings. Sponsorship

An investment in the Flint Children’s Museum is an investment in your community! Sponsorship of the Museum’s exhibits and programs can include recognition on the Museum’s marquee, website, press releases, and social media. Sponsorship Agreement: A signed contract is required for a valid sponsorship and to properly reserve the space for the event/program. Use of the FCM logo and all messaging on your event, in any format physical or digital, requires express permission from the Flint Children’s Museum marketing department.

Sponsor of the Month: $1,000/month

Sponsor an entire month of educational fun at the Flint Children’s Museum! Monthly themes make every visit to the Museum a new experience with special programs, activities, guest exhibits, and more. In addition to the themed month, your sponsorship includes a special Two Dollar Day during the month!

Family Free Access Day Sponsor: $2,500/day

Through your sponsorship, we will provide free Museum access to the public and work closely with you to plan the day’s special events!

Discovery Zone Exhibit Sponsor: $5,000/6 month exhibit

Sponsor one of our very special Discovery Zone exhibits! These exhibits take a more in-depth look at a specific topic or subject! Discovery Zone exhibit changes twice a year to a new immersive theme to explore

Event Sponsorship

Sponsor amazing events all year long that bring magic, joy, and unique experiences for the kids in the community. Event sponsorships include purchase of items for special programs, candy and prizes for the kids, or special guests and vendors!
–Halloween Party: Candy, costumes, or materials like dry ice, glue for slime, or sensory bin items.
–Cookies with Santa: Candy canes or themed treats for kids talking with Santa, Ingredients for cookie decorating or sponsor the Little Elves Maker’s Space.
–Noon Year’s Eve: Balloons for balloon drop, noisemakers, party crowns, small prizes to celebrate the new year, ingredients for soda geysers.
–Storybook Literacy Event: Characters for kids to interact with, books, story time vendors, special literacy activities
–Egg Hunt: Candy and prizes for eggs, special characters for photo ops, or a special activity for kids to enjoy during the event.
–Sproutside Grand Opening: help us host a super special day to welcome outdoor play in May! Past activities include foam parties, petting zoo’s, or bounce houses.

The Flint Children’s Museum is Generously Supported in Part by Greater Flint Arts Council, Michigan Council for Arts & Cultural Affairs, and the National Endowment for the Arts. We are also supported by the Greater Flint Art Council Share Art Genesee Grant Program, made possible by the Genesee County Arts Education and Cultural Enrichment Millage funds.
