How We Play

There are 5 “Ways to Play Safely” in the Flint Children’s Museum:

  • Always use walking feet.
  • Remember to keep your shoes on.
  • Children and adults stay together in the museum.
  • Food, drinks and gum are allowed in the Museum’s designated eating area.
  • Please use your helping hands to put things back where they belong.

LUNCH/SNACK:

Bring your lunch or a snack! There is a small indoor eating area for one family and another in Sproutside (weather/and season permitting), where you can relax while you eat. Indoor eating space is closed off to allow for easy cleaning between families, please see a staff member before entering space.

STROLLERS/CARRIAGES

Strollers are allowed in the Museum, and can also be stored in the coatroom during your visit.

The Museum is designed for children ages 2 – 10. All children under 18 years of age must be supervised and in the presence of their adult at all times.

Reservations are required for groups of 12 or more. Reservations are not available for discount days.

The museum can not allow adults in the museum without accompanying a child, or children in the museum without a supervising adult.
